STORY

A Japanese feel

One expression that is familiar to Japanese people is "ma."

Examples include tokonoma, living room, dirt room, leaving a space, putting in a space, and being close.
The word "ma" is often used in daily life, but in terms of space, it can also mean the space or gap between things, and in terms of time, it can also be used to mean the time in between or idle time.

In Japan, it doesn't seem strange that the word "ma" is used to refer to both space and time (pause, interval).
That's natural.

"MABI" expresses the traditional Japanese ratio of 1:1.414 and the square shape, with meticulous attention to detail.
By combining pieces in a space that suits you, we propose that you can have fun, feel a sense of space (ma) in your heart, and experience once again the uniquely Japanese aesthetic of space.
