Products under the SHIKI brand are created with consciousness of various “shiki”.

3D curved design
We make full use of the characteristics of solid wood.
When a three-dimensional curved surface is made of wood, it feels moist and comfortable in the hand, and is very pleasant to touch.
Touch is a very important sense, and a pleasant touch brings “healing,” “pleasure,” “peace of mind,” and “deep emotion”.

5-axis machining technologies
In addition to the three axes (X, Y, Z) in which the spindle and tool stand move, a total of five axes (rotation and tilt included) are simultaneously controlled for machining, making it possible to perform complicated machining which was not possible with conventional three-axis machining.

The pleasant touch of the moisture furniture cannot be achieved by machines alone.
Because it is a sensory element unique to human beings, each piece is finished by hands of craftsmen who check the feel with their own hands.
Our Product "totte"
The first personal space for your child when start walking.
"totte" is a children's interior designed for children to have their own space to play or learn. In Japan, there is a concept called "mokuiku" *, which encourages physical and mental development by having contact with wood from infancy.
"totte" can provide children with a high-quality experience.
mokuiku* : In Japanese. "moku" means tree and "iku" means nurturing.
So, "mokuiku" means nurturing the mind and body through contact with trees.

Our Product "pombo"
We came up with the shape of a dove.
Tables have traditionally been made in a square shape as a matter of course, but it may not necessarily be the right shape that suits modern lifestyles.
Neither triangular nor square, the dove-shaped "pombo" is designed for use by 1 to 3 people to meet the needs of today's diversified families and ways of spending time at home.
It doesn't have to be big or flashy, but it is carefully made and of high quality.
"pombo" is a dove-shaped table that is just the right size for your lifestyle.
pombo* : Pombo means pigeon in Portuguese.
