We, SHIKI, exhibited at the 55th Okawa Furniture New Year Exhibition, held in Okawa City in January 2023.
Despite being held so early in the new year, we had a large turnout.

At the SHIKI booth, we announced new products and exhibited additional items in the Noko series. We will show you a part of what was happening on the day.
This time we would like to introduce our new furniture, "CORO".

［STORY］
Japanese spaces are made freely, with large rooms created without partitions, and the most suitable tools (furniture) can be brought out when and where it is needed to make it comfortable. The place and tools are adjusted according to the purpose, such as entertaining guests, the changing seasons, and making each moment the best "time."
As the services, tools, and machines that surround our daily lives, as well as the styles of the people who use them, change, it is becoming increasingly important to respond to longer-lasting and more versatile changes, moving away from a culture of consumption to one that values the meaning of things, their relationship with the environment, and the selection of things that are good for nature and the body.
"CORO" is a design that simplifies the composition of things, such as boxes, boards and surfaces, and allows freedom in their use. By giving movement to the ground and to the legs that support it, it can be freed from its fixed location. Furniture, which is a major part of our living space, is freed from its fixed use and can be moved to wherever you like, whenever you like.
We believe that the role of "CORO" is to create new relationships in daily life.
COROIRE
A rolling box for putting things in.

In addition to using it as a desk or kitchen storage,

Furniture that is being liberated from its role as a place to put a TV is
The solid wood and woven rattan boards are light and warm,
You have freedom in what you place and where you place it.
Please find new ways to use it.
CORONE Coronet
A place (surface) to sit, relax, or roll around on.
Family structures and lifestyles are becoming more diverse.
Adults, children, and animals all live together in the same space,
The word "relax" indicates a change in style.
Try to find your own relaxation.
