We, SHIKI, exhibited at the 56th Okawa Furniture New Year Exhibition, held at the Okawa City Industrial Hall from January 10th to 11th, 2024.
Despite being held so early in the new year, we had a large turnout.

A new aesthetic sense and traditional techniques
The letters E and W stand for East and West.
The blending of East culture and style with West modernism has resulted in a "borderless" beauty that is neither Eastern nor Western.
We express the aesthetic sense that SHIKI has discovered through manufacturing using traditional Japanese techniques, and propose interior designs that suit modern lifestyles.
E:W TV/DISPLAY BOARD
In the past, Japanese homes had a tokonoma alcove in the Japanese-style room, where seasonal hanging scrolls and flowers were displayed. In recent years, Japanese-style rooms have become rare in homes, and the living room has become the center of life.
The E:W TV/DISPLAY BOARD can be used not only as a TV stand, but also as storage and display stand for under a wall-mounted TV, bringing a new "tokonoma" style arrangement to your living room.
E:W 2-seater SOFA
The frame, constructed using a structure resembling interlocking wells and the traditional Japanese woodworking technique of nuki structure, is reminiscent of the beautiful straight-lined timber-framed architecture of Japanese architecture.
In contrast, the cushions are rounded and soft, and the combination of these contrasting designs evokes the beauty of different cultures intermingling.
